Midfielder Kheira Hamraoui, cold with part of the Paris SG locker room, was not selected for the first leg semi-final of the Women’s Champions League on Sunday April 24 in Lyon (5 p.m.) after an “incident between players” that occurred Saturday April 23 in training, the club announced.
“An incident between players occurred during the training session of the women’s section,” confirmed PSG, promising to take “all measures to draw the consequences of this incident”, without specifying the nature.
According to L’Équipe, it was an altercation between Sandy Baltimore and Kheira Hamraoui, who has had conflicting relations with some of her partners since the violent assault with the iron bar, still unsolved, of which she was the victim in november.

At the worst time
According to the group unveiled by PSG, Hamraoui (32) was not selected for the trip to Lyon on Sunday, without it being known immediately whether it was a sanction from the club. .
Either way, it’s an unwelcome jolt for Didier Ollé-Nicolle’s side on the eve of PSG’s most crucial game of the season so far, even though the club have assured that they are focused on the ground. “The vital forces of Paris Saint-Germain are concentrating on the sporting objectives and the match on Sunday,” wrote PSG.
“Harassment and denigration”
It is not the first time this season that the atmosphere of the Parisian locker room appears flawed, around the figure of Kheira Hamraoui. Last month, the lawyer for the French international had denounced “a campaign of harassment and denigration” carried out by several players against his client, in a letter addressed to PSG.
On November 4, 2021, Hamraoui was attacked with an iron bar by two men in front of Aminata Diallo, Hamraoui’s teammate in Paris and in the France team. The hypothesis of a rivalry between the two players, who play in the same midfield position, was initially considered.

Damaged relationships within the team
Following this attack, Aminata Diallo was placed in police custody by the Versailles judicial police before coming out free, without charge against her. Since then, Hamraoui’s relationship with several of his teammates has deteriorated, the latter accusing him of the custody of Aminata Diallo.
Judicial information has been opened against X for “criminal association” and “aggravated violence”. Great rivals of French women’s football, OL and PSG face off on Sunday in the semi-final first leg of the Women’s Champions League. The return match is scheduled for the Parc des Princes next Saturday.
